Nonduality and Meditation I
|7:00 PM to 9:00 PM
|Wednesdays for 11 Weeks
Nonduality and Meditation I offers an introduction to meditation and the philosophy and practice of Advaita Vedanta. Through discussion and practical exercises, the course invites you to examine closely your experience of body, mind, and the world; to refine the attention and understanding; and so to lay the groundwork for awakening to the one Self in all.
Participants will be initiated into meditation and given a Sanskrit mantra towards the end of the class. The class will be hybrid, but the initiation will take place in-person at our Waltham house. If you choose to attend online, a Zoom link will be located at the bottom of your Eventbrite confirmation email.
Participants are given brief readings and exercises each week, and are invited to share their responses and experiences in class.
NOTE: Classes and events are open to those age 18 and over. Participants younger than 18 can attend classes and events if accompanied by a parent or guardian.
